Each year in Spring (for us in Australia) Apple release a new version of its iOS operating system for iPhone. Prior to Spring 2023, in iOS17, the Photos app had four tabs across the bottom: Library, For You, Albums and Search, so you could easily navigate between each.

This marks the end of a decade-long partnership and a twenty-year business. When organising digital photo collections for clients, I more often than not, organise the photo collection into Year > Month folders using the date/time taken stamp embedded into each digital file’s metadata. However, I always come across files where the date/time stamp is missing or incorrect.
