Save Your Photos Day

Save Your Photos Day

It’s a wrap!  Save Your Photos Month of September has come to an end.  We hope you enjoyed learning more about how you can protect and preserve your precious memories.

The downside of such a busy work month for me personally was that I missed the NSW RFS Get Ready Day and we are a few weeks behind on our Bush Fire Readiness Planning. Are you ready? Do you have a Bush Fire Survival Plan? We will spend part of our long weekend clearing gutters and catching up and getting everything ready.

Ask anyone fleeing their home in emergency conditions what the top 3 things they are attempting to save are and you will find the response (just like on a recent episode of Family Feud):

  1. Photos
  2. Pets
  3. People

We want you to be able to put your hands on everything you need in an emergency situation within minutes and be safely out of harm’s way. Start getting everything together now while there is no risk. Where are all your photos? You can use our checklist so you don’t forget anything.

Have you got your Digital Photo Hub sorted? Learn more via our past blog post. If your photos are organised and you have a back plan in place, if you are not near your home in an emergency, you can remain calm during an evacuation and be able to concentrate on the survival of much loved family and pets.

Can you really put a price on the peace of mind you would gain knowing that your precious memories are safe and secure?

Have a magical day

Mara
